Uunca Prides (Design based on original artwork by: *HimawariKitsune-YiYa)
Name: Namu Adhmad Caillte (Namu, Lost Wood) name given to her by the wolves who adopted her as part of the pack.
(Nuh-moo Odd-muhd Ka-eel-tah)
Tribe: The Aztec Tribe
Age: Juvenile, actual age is uncertain. (Update: She's Between 19-24 years of age.)
Personality: Namu is a loner. She's loyal to friends and fierce against enemies. her wolven loved ones consider her an adult by wolf years, how ever she's still young even though she's already quite large. She has a love and appreciation for other living things but isn't afraid to hunt a worthy challenge when she's hungry. When she was with the wolves her common diet would have been of Cari-bu and other large deer, hunting as a teem wit her pack members. Having been raised with wolves for the first few years of her life, her concept of culture leans more towards the native American in a few aspects as she learns about the new world of the "Uunca".
Back story review: Namu was born in the dessert near salt-pans that could range for miles. While she was still a very young cub, her mother was killed and Namu was separated from her birth family. She began a poor journey to find them but never did. In just a month after her mother's death and separation from her family she was already beginning to starve to death when she finally collapsed at the edge of a Pine Tree forest that flourished on the great mountains sides and hills that surrounded the place where she then lied. She was suddenly found by a white she-wolf with odd eyes, one gold the other sapphire. It was then that Marollutteh became her new adoptive mother, and Mactire her new father. The two alpha wolves raised her in their pack and taught her the ways of the wolf and the importance of telling the difference between the different types of humans, who to trust and allow passage and who is the enemy. "Watchers" were the humans who observed their daily lives and documented their every move. "Neighbors", the natives that lived along side them. "Hunters" their rivals during the hunt. "Poachers" the enemies who would murder wolves in their sleep in order to steal their skins.
She was given the name Namu Adhmad Caillte, or Namu "Lost Wood". Namu because of her unique howl in the pack, the "Nua-hul", "Lost Wood" because she was a lost pup to them and her mask reminded them of the black pine trunks of the forest.
The pack had go on through many ordeals and triumphs, but eventually, every wolf must leave the pack and venture alone until they are ready to start their own pack. She began venturing across the continent, only returning to her beloved pack in spring, to help with the care of the new born pups. Unfortunately, not every part of her journey outside of the place she called home gave her good memories or was filled with trustworthy beings she could co-exist with. Because of this, she always kept her guard and gave warning growls to who ever would come near. Only withdrawing the defensive pose when it was actually safe to do so. Eventually she came across Sly, and she was greeted the same way all new comers were greeted when they crossed Sly's path. Sly then disappeared into the dark of the night, leaving Namu to think of what was just said between them. After some thought and wonder, Namu was curious about these so called "Uunca". What if they were of her own kind? What if her birth family was there if this was so? Would they remember her if they were? Would these other "Uunca" and their tribes accept her like the few who ever do, or stab her heart like so many others have done? She decided to brave the new ordeal before her and face the doubts that questioned the future. "Nua-hul!!" with her howl, she called out to the Uunca. Soon after she was guided in to the new lands and was welcomed into The Aztec Tribe.
Additional Note: She can't express herself with telepathy like other Uunca. She's never been taught and may be some time until she fully learns how to communicate this way with others. In the mean time, she uses body language, animal gestures and different calls and sounds to express herself. She hopes that others will pay no mind to the awkward communication skills, however, due to past experiences, she's use to the weird looks she may be given at anytime a conversation emerges. Her eyes are usually a rose color but they shift between a more pink color to red depending on the state of her mood.
